Mongolian Parliament’s spring session has commenced.

The Parliament’s Legislative Agenda for the 2015 Spring Session

Ulaanbaatar – On 30 March 2015, Mr. Enkhbold Zandaakhuu, the Speaker of the State Great Hural (“Parliament”), outlined the legislative agenda for the 2015 Regular Spring Session of the Parliament.

Under the Speaker’s Order No. 79, the following matters were approved for legislative discussion:

1.Overview of the implementation of Mongolia’s Socio-economic Development Goals of 2014;

2.Draft Resolution on the Approval of Mongolia’s Socio-economic Development Goals for 2016;

3.Update on the State Budget for 2016 and draft law on the state budget framework for 2017-2018;

4.Draft Resolution of the Parliament on the Approval of Mongolia’s 2014 Budget Performance and the Government’s Consolidated Financial Statement for 2014;

5.Draft Resolution of the Parliament on the Approval of the Integrated State Policy on Population Development;

6.Draft Resolution of the Parliament on the Approval of the Long Term Development Policy of Mongolia;

7.Draft Law on Mongolia’s Development and Future Planning;

8.Draft Resolution of the Parliament on the Approval of the State Policy on Industry;

9.Draft Law on Support of the Manufacturing Industry;

10.Revised draft of the Law on Public Services;

11.Draft of the Consolidated Law on Elections;

12.Draft Law on Casinos;

13.Draft Law on Drafting, Submitting, and Implementing Legislation;

14.Draft Law on Trade;

15.Revised draft of the Law on Family;

16.Draft Resolution of the Parliament on the Revision of the State Policy on Science and Technology;

17.Draft Amendments to the Law on Social Insurance;

18.Revised draft of the Law on Audits;

19.Revised draft of the Law on Accounting;

20.Draft Law on the Secured Transactions (Pledge) of Movable and Intangible Property;

21.Draft Law on the Future Inheritance Fund;

22.Draft Law on Capital City Taxation;

23.Draft Law on Property Tax and other relevant legislation;

24.Draft Resolution of the Parliament on the Approval of the State Policy on Forests;

25.Draft Law on Public Comments (Vox Populi) and other relevant legislation;

26.Draft Law on Inspection and other relevant legislation;

27.Revised draft of the Law on Press Independence;

28.Draft Amendments to the Law on the National Human Rights Commission;

29.Revised draft of the Criminal Code;

30.Draft Law on Offence;

31.Draft Law on Political Parties and Law on Financing of Political Parties;

32.Revised draft of the Law on Fire Hazard Security and other relevant legislation;

33.Draft Amendments to the Law on the State Great Hural and Amendments to the Procedural

Rules of the State Great Hural; and

34.Other matters.
